Client: Virginia Department of Social Services
Commissioned by the Department of Social Services, I designed and implemented a 12-week personal development curriculum called Changing Lanes, led by facilitators I trained to teach it. The program evolved into a 2.5-year initiative across five counties in the state of Virginia, shifting public assistance from survival to self-sufficiency.
The work helped women reframe their narratives, reclaim agency, and step into sustainable entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative independence, affirming that social services can be more than infrastructure to sustain people—it can be the catalyst to liberate them.
